A beer a year and a half in the making! When Jon Olken tossed out the idea of brewing a special Hazy IPA for the relaunch of Full Throttle Bottles we were still in the planning stages of our brewery. Brewed with Centennial and Simcoe then dried hopped with Galaxy, West Coast Masshole has a juicy New England nose, yet drinks like a classic West Coast IPA with a notable, bright pop of carbonation. A perfect mashup that represents Jon to a "T”!

16 ounce can. Pours a hazy orange muddied color with a large white head. A soft fruity nose. Sweet, big mango, fruity core. Light bitterness, some soft bready base. Very easy to drink. Solid.

Hazy, thin head. Brett, light malt, bitter, light fruit, clean pale malt, really nice!

On tap at Matchless, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops, some dankness and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is so piney and smooth, with a truckload of piney hops, balanced by just enough biscuity malt. So much flavour on the hops without any real bitterness. Dry and piney on the finish. Excellent.

Draft 10 oz pour at the new and improved Full Throttle Bottles. A hazy golden orange pour, with plenty of smooth mousse foam head. Orange fruit, piney, with forward grains on the aroma. Flavor is much more in the expected, with creamy orange fruit, rich malt, and a lingering hop moderate bitterness. A very smooth IPA. Refreshing, and on point as far as thickness goes. Very good stuff.
