Bottle. Medium brown in color with an off-white head. Aroma is a nutty roasted grains. Taste was a little hoppier then I'm used to in a brown ale but it was still good.

Modest notes of cocoa and toasted bread, backed up by a hint of caramel and a slight nuttiness on the back end. Grows too bitter in the finish for the mildness of the malts. Decent.

Can sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks troubles. Nuts, toast, some oxidation, caramel, sweet, bitterish finish, medium-bodied.

On tap at Tennessee Brew Works, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a medium beige head. Aroma brings out lots of toasted nuts, not much else. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted nuts and some earthy bready malt. Very dry; not much depth to the palate. Meh.

Very easy drinking and well put together. Light caramel but lots of roast. More like a stout than a muscled midget. Som chestnut. Black pour with good head and lacing. Tap at brewery.

Bottle Clear dark brown with a tall, light tan head. Nutty sweet malt aroma. Some cocoa powder. The flavor is lightly sweet, light chocolate, nutty as was expected from the aroma.
