500ml at that bottle shop in downtown Nashville. Starting to get old. Pint glass at home.
Clear, purple drank, lingering froth. Drastic color.
Deep, legit, earthy beet juice nose. Veggie, fruity, perceivably dry & honest. Can't smell the beer.
Flavor is better. Bittersweet, leaning bitter. Drinks like a bitter red ale. Rindy grapefruit, herbal, black pepper, very slight lingering beet taste, touch of wood.
Bite-y, crispy, frothy, slight abv warmth.
Kinda good.

On tap at Tennessee Brew Works, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out light peppercorns, with saison yeast and some earthiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy notes, beets, and saison yeast. Earthy and beet-y. It's alright.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear deep amber red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma he notes of berries and light beer with Belgian yeast and grains supporting. Flavor actually has a decent amount of beet with some light spice and grains backing.
