Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt with a little grapefruit hops. Flavor is a slight malt, hop and bitterness. Everything is muted. Not a great pale ale.

On tap at St. Nicholas, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright citrusy and tropical fruity hops, with a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is along the same lines, with tropical fruity hops and biscuity malt. Fruity and decently balanced. Nice stuff.

Draft taster, the evening before the 2017 Eclipse. Slightly brown body under a spongy pale ale head. Cascade hops forefront on the nose, with a pine resin and apricot smell. Taste has big hops up front as advertised. Immediately notice the malt is a bit dry. That seems to be the brewer’s choice, and it well showcases the hop florals.
