Black colored, small+ tan creamy head. Chocolate, roasted malt, biscuit, medium sweet, light dark fruit, herbal and earthy moderate hops, medium bitterness, rather lasting and present for a stout. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Nice.

Handpull cask at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, Nottingham. Dark brown, bordering on black. A tiny khaki head on top. Grassy peaty notes on the nose with a touch of liquorice. There's ample bitterness in the taste with a bitter/sour finish. Full body. Wonderful stuff.
