On tap at Town Hall, pours a deep golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out heaps of honey upfront, lightly accentuated by the red wine barrels. Flavour is boozy and honey-dominated, with plenty of honey sweetness, tempered by booze and the red wine barrels. Not particularly cohesive, and somewhat harsh. Okay.

Sampled from the tap at Minnesota Winterfest 2017. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains, honey, and light flora with a some red wine barrel backing. Flavor has sweet grains and honey supported by red wine notes.

Winterfest 2017. Not red at all. Gold color. Lots of honey, and some wine barrel character. Surprisingly dry. I say it is surprising because I expected more sweet flavor from the honey. Lighty tart. I like the barrel aging with this beer.
