On tap at Burke-Gilman, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out subdued earthy coffee, with gentle toasted malt. Flavour is a little more robust, with sweetened coffee, lactose, and light toasted malt. Quite sweet and lacking depth. It's okay.

Draft pour enjoyed at Burke Gilman. Thin appearance top this imperial brown. A dark brown, slight reddish tint. Not a ton of coffee here. Almost mistakes it for the Belgian dark, until I tried the Belgian dark. It's just hinted coffee, though it's more noticeable after trying others. Rich malt. Pretty good.
