On Tap at the brewery/taproom Amber redish brown with a thin off white head. Strong woody tannin like bitter malts and piney deep smooth hop bitterness. A big beer but balanced.

Amber, hazy and dull. Tart, thin....not good. Random orange and toast - ok that reminds me of England but this beer doesn't.

On tap at Jellyfish, pours a hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out light oranges, some cocoa and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with oranges, cocoa and biscuity malt. For such a high ABV beer, this is rather mellow flavoured. Finished with orangey notes. Decent.

Draft pour enjoyed at Jellyfish, side by side with the Mexican coffee edition. A cleaner, darker brown pour. Thin head. Not quite as complex as expected, or even advertised. Dont really get much chocolate or orange notes here. It's completely inoffensive though. A slightly imperial brown ale feel for me. Not bad.
