Dark brown. Bitter, chocolate, citrus hops, and a bit woody. I would say a solid example of the style

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5.5
On tap at Moody, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a medium light brown head. Aroma brings out highly roasted malt with a robust piney hop character. Flavour is quite harsh and bitter, with lots of roasted malt and bittering hops, though the hops are more bitter than flavourful, and the roast is just harsh. A rathe amateur, jagged black IPA.
