Smoked, peat, alcohol, plums, woody, minerals
Suitsune, hapukas, puuviljane, linnaseline, pähkline, alkone, kerge äädikas. Ok.
Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
- full point for the irritating pretentious wax. No head whatsoever. Dead-looking dirty brown beer. Phenolic, smoked, tarr, Thai fish sauce, ink, Islay malt. Sour-tarry, again smelling salty-fishy, balsamico. And then faraway red fruit or maraschino cherry. Pretty sweet in the end. Hardly any carbonation, very oily feel; alcoholburn and -thinning. A very acquired flavour I daresay. Doesn't come easy, and nothing I can compare to it. Big thanks to all my kids!
