(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 9 May 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, cacao, vanilla and coconut. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with notes of chocolate, cacao, vanilla, sweet espresso, coconut, treacle and a balanced cacao bitterness in a sweetish, warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. A bit sweet and boozy, but really rich and tasty. Very nice.

You could get drunk just by sticking your nose in the glass for 5 minutes. Absolute vinous nose followed by raisin and chocolate flavours. Surprisingly non-heavy and non-alcoholic in the mouth with a warming, almost spirit-like aftertaste. Dangerous

Keg at BrewDoge Clerkenwell, 10/05/24. Black pour topped with a khaki head. Nose is chocolate pot, light coffee, vanilla, marshmallow, dark malts. Taste comprises chocolate melt, toffee fudge, mellow roast, coconut, vanilla essence, light spice balance. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid easy drinking sipper.

Tap at Brewdog Waterloo. A clear dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a fading light tan head. Aroma is sticky brown sugars, boozy, oak, bourbon, barley wine. Some white raisin. Flavour is composed of nice toffee, praline, light chocolate, hazelnut, rocky road vibes, palate is semi sweet oily, mellow carbonation. Good stuff.
