10th Aug 2018. On tap at the Leverkusen Bierbörse. Golden body, bright, clean and clear; on top a white crown, sadly it quickly vanished into a wisp and collar before I got it back to my table from the stall. Subtle hop and malt esters in the aroma; a typical Kölsch, as in refreshing but lacking in depth and real flavour. Decent balance between the light malts and mildy bittering hops. The stall selling this didn't say if it was a Kölsch, Helles or Pilsner; my notes name all three as the possible style because I couldn't tell (Kölsch was my prefered guess).

50cl bottle. Pours hazy deep golden colour with a mid-sized to small off-white head. Aroma of vegetables, mild spicy and metallic hops and grains. Taste of mild grainy malt, vegetables, green hops, spicy hops, overall uninteresting!Earlier Rating: 1/10/2015 Total Score: 1.7Klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr metallisch, hopfig. Geschmack metallisch, getreidig, leicht oxidiert, gar nicht gut!

Pours a hazy yellow color, topped with a medium sized and medium lasting white head. Slightly smelly malt aroma initially, sweet feel with mild grassy notes later on. Sweet start, not too intense but still. Mild bittery feel in the finish and short after. Not as crisp as would like it to be. Not unpleasant, though.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Steyler Klosterbier ].[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear light to medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, light grass, light vegetables. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average duration, fruity malt, green grass, vetables notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20160109]

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Week citrus notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle, 5.1%. Slightly hazy pale yellow with small white head. Aroma is malt, grass, hop, grainy and a little straw? Flavour is malt, straw, grass, little grainy, straw, little sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are hops, fruits, sweet malt and grass.
