330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, brown head. Woody, vinous, and dark malty aroma, notes of red wine, blue grapes, some oak, some morello, a tannic touch, yeasty spicy overtones with brett resemblance. Taste is dry, vinous, woody, fruity and minimally sweet, chocolately dark malty, notes of blue grapes, some morello, a touch of plum, oak. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, lingering vinous fruity finish. Quite BA dominated if not slightly over-dominated, but the basic beer is good enough to give enough support for a well balanced, harmonious overall result.

Barwa bardzo ciemna, nieprzejrzyste. Ciemnobrunatna piana, niewielka, dość szybko znika. W aromacie czuć czerwone wino, a w tle nuty palone. W smaku kompot z suszu, kwaskowość, paloność, gorzka czekolada, bombonierka. Bardzo ciekawe piwo.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, beige head. Delicious aroma of tart, red berries atop roasted malt - quite elegant. Fairly rich body, but completely flat. Leathery, astringent, berry tart, heavy tannins. As elegant as the aroma was, the body honestly is rather rough and messy. 120319

Fajnie czuc wino w aromacie a w smaku dochodza slodkie, ciemne owoce, jakies ziemiste klimaty, plus porterowe nuty zostaly... klasa, 4.1

Tap at La Fine Mousse, 22nd June 17. Courtesy of the bar staff, not sure if they are welcoming me or trying to kill me. Pours black, viscous, neat lacey head. Aroma is vineous, sherry, barrel, wood. Taste is tart and sweet, soaked barrel, liquor, vineous notes, coffee, bitter cocoa, vineous finish.
