Draught @ All in Beer Fest. Pours hazy burnt golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty, tiny fruity and tiny grassy with caramel, bread, grapefruit juice, mango, unroasted coffee, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, tiny malty, slightly fruity and slightly grassy. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with white brad, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, coffee, moist grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Weird green coffee character. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cross Eye Coffee Rye on 09 Nov 2015 at 11:28 - Score: 6

Draught@SBWF2015. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is herbs, coffee, some spruce, fruits and mild sweet malts as well as grass to it. Flavour is very similar, kind of bitter hops, meeting the roast and slight sourness of the coffee. Strange, but in a way I really liked the flavour.

Tap@Taproom Malmö, Malmö, Sweden - amber pour with off-white head. Malty and fruity aroma and taste, light roasted and toasty, hoppy, caramel with some coffee nuance, abit different but enjoyable nonetheless.

(Keg at BrewDog Helsinki, 20151019) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had cold coffee and burnt malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were coffee, malts, sweetness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste had coffee, ash and bitterness. Not only were I cross-eyed I was wondering why I was charged this much for this one.
