Bottle. Hazy orange color with thick white head. Aroma of oranges, zest, maybe another citrus. Taste, sweet orange marmalade, zest, kumquat. Nice.

500ml bottle. Unfiltered orange-copper body Steady off white head. Quite a solid offering, stylistically falling somewhere between a Saison and a Bierre de Garde. The yeast is mild and restrained. The malts are smooth and sweet. Some peppery spicy notes in the aroma. Comes together really well, has a very enjoyable malt backbone. French malts shine. Solid.

Keg at the Midtown location, 12/17/16. Slightly hazy amber, large creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of yeast, toasted malt, apricot, doughy malt. The taste is stone fruit, yeast, bready malt, mild herbal notes. Medium bodied, lingering spice.

Draught at Kaschk. Deep gold with a medium head. Aroma of malt and spice. Flavour is a bit bland, some yeast and spice. Sweet finish.

500 ml bottle purchased as a single at Bombay Wines and Spirits in St Charles, Missouri. 2016-03-03 on date on the bottle. The pour is clear golden with tons of active carbonation bubbles that rise to the surface and build up a one inch foamy white head. The aroma is banana clove, hay and general Saison yeast. The taste is the clove and hay of the nose up front, followed close behind by the banana and Saison yeast. There is a touch of citrus in the back as well. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a dry yeasty finish. Tasty.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity, slightly floral and dusty, yeasty aroma, hints of apple, lots of clove, a wheaty touch. Taste is pale and wheat malty, notes of clove, hints of apple and pear, a minimally floral and dusty, yeasty touch. Slightly clumsy.

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a blond and diminishing frothy head. Yeast-spicy aroma with delicately grainy malt, caramel, as well as fruity accents of citrus, ripe apples and banana. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a prickly carbonation. Slightly caramelly malty and mildly wheaty base with yeasty notes, citrus and banana; medium-dry, moderately sweet and slightly fruity finish with yeasty spice. Solid. 10.II.16
