Can pour from trade with Steve from Wine Merchants, Hamden. Massive frothy head (root beer float) after over-pressurized overflow into sink--top of can was domed outward. Hazy, honey brown with trace sparkle, globs of soapy lacing. Aroma is dusty, sweet malt with hint of spice (rye?). Taste is unfinished wort, mild caramel. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation & finish as taste. No telling how old this is but lack of hops and over carbonation suggest this has had a long (tortured) life. I'm glad to have had the chance to try the brewer but hope to be able to try something at some point that might be more representative (though not holding my breath--this looks like one and done). Not good.

Thank God I open this next to the sink because it exploded. The carbonation level on this is jacked up. But, that’s the least of its problems.
Flavor of dirty rye grain, mild herb, and oxidized malt. Not easy to drink.
