330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.9%. Slightly hazy reddish brown colour, moderate to small off-white to beige head. Aroma of dust and grain, disappointing. The flavour is better, notes of caramel, dark syrup and brown bread, distinct bittering hops in the finish.

Amber colour. small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity and some mild toffeeish and toasted tones to it. Flavour is floral, some toffee, mild toasted and a bit earthy tones. Quite metallic in the aftertaste.

Can. A hazy copper-amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is quite malty, pleasant, with a decent fruityness. Dried fruit and bread notes too. It’s full-bodied and a bit heavily carbonated, semi-dry and quite bitter, with mostly hoppy flavors. Dried fruit and caramel, bread and toffee. Medium length finish. A decent one, nothing more. 241129

I den frilynte grunnforsknings navn (og med sedvanlig mangel på selvkontroll) spretter jeg den 0,33 boksen som skulle være luke 1 i årets egenkomponerte adventskalender: nesten helt klar kastanjefarge med fint skum som varer til bunns i mitt Torpah-glass. Deilig maltpreg understøttet av urter, lyng(honning) og diskret furunål. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen, hvor maltsmaken sitter lenge i uten at den overdøver mersmaken.
