Bottle, 75cl. An unclear chestnut colored beer with a small, dense, beige head leaving lacing. The aroma has lots of raisin and prune, with notes of caramel maltyness, alcohol, bread notes, a light roasted malt touch, some notes of molasses and dark berries. A vague hint of oak. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, semi-sweet, with a gentle carbonation. Dark dried fruit, alcohol, bread hints, caramel, some dark berries and chocolate covered raisin in the flavor. Brown sugar and some oak and a very light spiced hint. Lasting warming finish. Sure a fine brew. 241123

From tap at Apollon Platebar, Bergen, 31.05.24. Clear mahogany. Not much head or lacing. Decent aroma and taste of figs, sweet dark caramel, dark candy sugar, dates, prunes, bark and some bitterness. A bit too much on the sweet side of things.
