Malmö March tasting at Palace Hall 21/03/2026 - dark sweet velvety chocolate with banana and nutty accents, lovely rich bourbon throughout, full bodied, bourbon lingering malty into the finish. Not getting much bacon luckily but that bourbon infused finish is lovely.

KYGG 231124. Black color with no head. Aroma is roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate, coffee. Flavor is sugar, alcohol, raisin, peanuts, banana, dried fruit, toasted malt, oak, vanilla. Powerful and very nice beer.

Bottle 375ml @ gunnfryd. Pours black with no head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol, oak, vanilla and molasses. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, roasted, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak and boozy finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 375ml. An oily pour reveals a headless black beer. The aroma has quite a lot of alcohol, but it's not the driving element. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee, some nuttyness and brown sugar, lots of caramel and a good dash of dark dried fruit. It's warming, full-bodied and sweet, with a very gentle carbonation. Sweet flavor, with roasted malts, dark chocolate, nuttyness, coffee and brown sugar. Lots of caramel. Lasting warming finish. Too warming, perhaps too intense, but sure nice. 241123

Massive peanut aroma. Moderate chocolate. Black with minimal brown head. Flavor is rich chocolate, bourbon, faint fruit. Meaty mouthfeel. Booze well hidden. This is massively complex. Nuttiness comes out as it warms.
