Handpull cask at the Mill, Cambridge. Dark gold with a surprisingly lively white head. A fair bit of lacing. Odd bouquet. Peach, legumes, a whiff of wet paint. Sweat? I can’t quite get my head around it. Savoury, almost herby/meaty initial taste. Turns deftly to a hoppy biter finish with intense bitterness in the aftertaste. Reasonably full body for the ABV. Strange little duck this, but tasty all the same.
