GBBF Day 3. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head, Palate is light and dry with modest fine carbonation. Big apple cinnamon clove thing going on, loud and clear. Tangy dark malts run throughout. Semi dry finish. It’s very (overspiced) apple pie but the dark malts are a distraction. Okay.

Keg at the Basecamp. Dark brown, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of strong roasted malt, molasses, ginger, caramel. The taste is roasted malts, ginger, molasses, spice, nutmeg. Thin bodied, lingering spice.

On tap at the brewery. Holy cow! The best offering I’ve had by the brewery. Apple butter all over - lightly sweet, but not cloying. Molasses and a bit nutty. Yum.
