On tap at the ‘010 FL Brewer’s Ball. Pours deep dark brown with deep copper edges and nice tan head. The aroma is an interesting combination of spicy hops, roasty malts and rich yummy chocolate with a touch of grapefruit and hop resin around the edges. The taste is smooth and coats the tongue with chocolate and malt roastiness and then punctuated by sort of grapefruit and spicy hop bitterness. It stays roasty torward picking up a light amount of sweet caramel into the finish. It dries out a touch with dark roastiness.
