On tap at the brewpub it is a nice brown color with a slight head aroma of chocolate and maybe cherries. Tastes chocolate and roasted coffee flavors that linger on the palate.

Courtesy of ketchepillar at the Black Friday Tasting, thanks Sam, pouring up deep dark brown with full impressive mocha head. The aroma is modest in strength but still brings up rich chocolate brownie notes as well as some dark fruity esters and a mild level of dark roasted malts. The taste is rich with chocolate brownie, smooth sweet dark fruity esters, toffee notes and some pleasing dark roasted maltiness. Nice but actually a touch over carbonated.

Dark brown. Quite toasty...like burnt toast. This character carries through with subtle sweetness. Not sure it comes together because I just keep getting burnt toast. But it does have a lagerish character that is halfway authentic. I would definitely want more sweetness in the end though.
