Poured up at the brewpub with deep dark mahogany body and lasting brown – mocha head. The aroma is nice, rich and roasty with dark roasted malts, coffee and chocolate. The taste has a pleasing level of chocolate that bleeds into coffee and very dark roasted malts. It basically stays that way into the finish. I really don’t get much in the way of a creamy oatmeal mouth feel but the bold varied flavor makes up for it. Solid brew!
