An Okanagan and Belgian inspired IPA. Belgian wit base and malted wheat form the base with a generous heaping of fruity El Dorado and Calypso hops. Finished with freshly pressed Okanagan pear juice. This unfiltered IPA is ripe with fruit sweetness and balanced with just the perfect amount of hop bitterness.

Hazy pale, thin head, a fair bit of coriander in the aroma (is this just the Dupontish yeast?). herbal hops, the beer is dry, herbal, rather fizzy. The pear is present, but subtle; the hops austere but nondescript; OK and I can get behind the concept.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Muddy blond color with creamy head. Aroma of yellow fruits, pie crust, peach. Smooth mouthfeel; strong wheat and spice character, strong bitterness too; mildly fruity; but the bitterness in the final is a bit too much. also, it’s too yeasty, dirty.
