Bottle, thanks SirLimpsalot. Brown with a slightly large tan head. Mild with malt, some nuts and caramel. Sweetish and with a fairly light mouthfeel. Lively carbonation.

Flaske 330ml - batch 38 - fra Meny Oslo City. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda. Mørk amber. Middels høyt tett skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. OK karamellaroma. Smaken karamell med fruktige undertoner. I søtligste laget - men ville nok passet godt til mat. Uklar siste kvelling.

330ml bottle, batch 38, thanks to Finn for the share. Solid fawn-coloured head leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Deep mahogany coloured body. Brown malty nose with hints of dark caramel. Nuts and roasted caramel flavours with a dried fruity twist towards the ending. Medium bodied. Well made version of the style (Tromsø 04.02.2016).

Bottle. Second batch of this beer. An almost clear one, brown in colour and with a dense, finger thick beige head on top. The aroma is quite roasted, with some coffee grit and dark chocolate. Hints of prunes. It’s full to medium bodied, soft and pleasantly carbonated. Semi-dry, with some sweetness but also a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, caramel, nuts and some hints of dark chocolate and coffee. Lasting finish. Tasteful and easy drinkable, sure a beer to repeat, and certainly improved compared to the first batch, which wasn’t bad either. 150722

Brown ale is normally not a favorite style. But this one is really easy to recommend. Lovely tasty ale.
Lovely deep nutty color with a fine off white head. Nice lacing. Loks really good. Good intensity in the aroma. Nice body for an 4,7% ale and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Nutty, bready, mild fruity and hoppy flavor.
