500ml bottle, batch 54, from Vinmonopolet bestillingsutvaget. Shared with djoeye. A noisy white head to a hazy golden body. Smell of mild ginger and fruity wheat. Moderate flavours of banana sweetness and ripe citrus. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Standard version of the style, just alright (Tromsø 27.07.2015).

Nice slightly fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry yeasty, leafs, sour-ish dough, flowers, weeds, hay, harsh yeast, wheat, cereal. Taste is slightly sour-idh dry, weeds, harsh yeast, hay, bark, minerals, wet grass, wheat, leafs. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Meh!

Big offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow opaque yellow body. Spicy mealy aroma with fruity notes. Dry spicy mealy wheaty taste with fruity wooden notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish mealy orangey aftertaste with spicy papery plastic notes. Decent, but no more. (0.5l bottle shared by KnutAl.)

Pours hazy deep golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, yeast, banana, caramel and hint of smoke. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, wheat and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Fra flaske på Cardinal M2 mars-15, og den første av fire fra Ego. Uklar gylden med filmskum. Lukter overmoden banan sammen med litt nellik og mye citrus. Smaker bedre, og sitronpreget blir tydeligere. Slank, ikke ueffen, men uvant til hveteøl å være.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 23.03.15. Cloudy, pale straw colour. White head. Fruity aroma of weissbier and lemon. Heavy taste and aftertaste of banana candy and sweet cheese and lemon cake. Not very refreshing, with low drinkability.

On tap @ Kick. Unclear orange body with a rather small white head. Aroma has malt, citric fruit and banana/yeast. Flavor has some wheat beer with banana and bubblegum and some citric fruity hops with sweet malt, caramel and medium bitterness. Totally drinkable but doesn’t feel too balanced. Instead of the feeling of a wheat beer with refreshing hop flavor it gives me a feeling of a beer that’s trying to be both but ends up with none of both. Might be lesser sweet and more bitter - don’t know really.
