Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, golden to amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick light beige head leaving some lacing. The aroma is too much on the malty, caramel side for me, but there’s also a nice piney, resiny and tropical hoppyness. It’s bitter on the palate, in a lightly harsh way, with bready, caramel flavors in the back. Tropcal fruits, pine cones and some resins in the flavor, lasting for a good while. A decent IPA, but it fails to live up to it’s commercial deScription. 160130

Bottle, 7%. Good and nicely sweetish grapefruit aroma. Cloudy orange/amber colour. Big stable plasticky white head. The flavour is nicely hoppy. Has a good grapefruit flavour and a faint sweetness to balance. Very faint hop bite in the finish. Tastes American!

Hazy amber, small offwhite froth. Aroma has wet pine and grapefruit, fruity with caramely/malty notes. Flavour has caramel well combined with piney bitterness and some grapefruit. A little sticky sweetness, but just enough. Light mouthfeel and well balanced with lasting pine needle finish. Not bad at all.
