(Bottle, 0.75 l - hand bottled, from the brewery, 20211211) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, coffee, juniper and lightly sourness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, coffee, dark chocolate, juniper, ash, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts and bitterness. A pleasant and balanced burnt brew with subtle juniper notes.
