Panda thanks to Wingman. Clear deep amber brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Light palate, good fine minerally crispness. Despite the lightness, the malts are delightfully rich, good dark chocolate and cream, the salted caramel is loud and clear on the back end. Barrel aged ripe fruits on the end. Just a touch of gum numbing alcohol. Wonderfully rich in flavour but still quite light in the palate.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 22/09/24. Black with a khaki head that thins to a swirl and edging. Nose is dark malts, caramel, mellow bourbon, fruit cake mix, spice. Taste comprises chocolate, dark malts, molasses, salted caramel, spice, booze, bourbon oak. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid stuff ... blind tasting I think I'd have gone with barley wine for this one. Sips easy for 15%.

Rated at Platinum Beer Lounge - Viikki Branch HQ. Sweet and slightly roasty with chocolate, salted caramel and oily coconut notes. Stuffy and earthy with some unbalanced notes
