Panda thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, slightly viscous, good fine minerally carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, some dark chocolate cream. Fair dose of cinnamon, somewhat heavy handed for my palate but the right side of too much. Whiskey soaked ripe fruits on the back end. Another pretty crushable Impy from this brewery, a bit less cinnamon would have elevated this a lot.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, cinnamon, oak, rye, coffee, taste is similar, bitter roasted coffee.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 13/09/24. Lighter shade of black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is coffee bean, roast malts, brown sugars, Grahams Crackers, light barrel strains. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, subtle cinnamon, coffee, brown sugar melt, rye barrel. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Fun and well balanced BA impy.
