Red Rye IPA is a delight for Shepherds (and everyone else). It pours a deep and welcoming red in colour, leading to an embrace of dark fruit and caramel in the aroma. On the palate a light grainy spiciness comes through from the rye, working in tandem with citrus and resin from the new world hops. It finishes dry with a long-lasting bitterness.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Clear amber body, firm lasting white top. Lots of fruity stuff from the off, some caramel and toffee, but then some nuts in the finish. Good solid pint this one.
