Panda thanks to Wingman. Just a light haze on this deepish amber beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, good fine minerally carbonation. Soft malts, traces of toffee and caramel and a good creamy malt sweetness that goes well with the obvious but smooth vanilla that has been added. Good nutty vibe, I want to say, hazelnuts. Lots of juicy ripe fruits and a little juicy peel. Nice. Don't think I have had a dessert Imperial amber before, so this sets the standard. Aaaaand .... it's all the way from down under.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 30/08/24. Reddish shades of chestnut brown with a fast escaping off white cap ... gone all to soon! Nose is chocolate, hazelnut, toasted brown sugars, nutty, toffee. Taste comprises brown sugar melt, chocolate corn flake cakes, toffee, hazelnut, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Fun beer ... sips well for the high boost and gets a FR vibe across rather well.

From a 375ml can on 15/8/2023. Pours a cloudy deep reddy amber with a small to medium head. Smells of melted choc hazelnut spread. Choc hazelnut is to the fore taste wise, with hints of nuts and dark fruit. Has a light bitterness at the back Syrupy mouthfeel with modest carbonation. Really unusual, and actually quite easy drinking for the size, though very much a slow sipper. Would prefer just a bit more bite at the back, but it's a really pleasant, out there dessert treat.
