Tap at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. An opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting halo of dark tan head. Aroma is huge boozy dark chocolate, boozy, fruit, cake, nutty hazelnut. Flavour is composed of medium sweet Sticky brown sugars, maple syrup, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, boozy fruit cake,. Palate is super sticky, brown sugars mellow carbonation

CBJ Keg. Near opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Smooth dark malts, good dark chocolate. Nice bourbon soaked fruits and bourbon spice. The maple adds sweetness but, mercifully is not overdone. Airy spicy finish. Good, not amazing, lacks a bit of that ultimate luxury.

Roast and caramel, cinnamon. Sweet granola bar. A fair dose of whiskey and maple. Pretty sweet, I can imagine the kids will love this one. Black pour without much head. Syrupy consistency. Tap at Laser Wolf.

Keg at CBJ, Bermondsey, 31/07/24. Pitch black with a khaki head that thins to a swirl. Nose is rich roast, maple syrup, tobacco, spice, chocolate, bourbon nip, vanilla essence. Taste comprises molasses, maple syrup, rich chocolate, spice, dark malts, dried fruit rinds, subtle barrel. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced warming boost. Solid kit.
