Panda thanks to Wingman. Opaque blackberry - blackcurrant beer, small and vanishingly short lived pale mauve head. Soft palate but has body, a mild dryness from the pulverised fruit, reasonable fine carbonation. There is a pleasing berry richness here, has real depth. There is also obvious marshmallow. Where the two come together is somewhat disharmonious for me. Two disparate elements that are clashing a bit. Light and semi dry finish. Should work really but my old and battered tongue says, not so much whilst admitting it ain't bad.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 05/08/24. Deep claret with a faded purple cap that veers to the edge. Nose is tangy red berry fruit pulp, vanilla essence, candied sweets, blackberry jam, herb. Taste comprises blackberries, red berry compote, herb, lactic tang, marshmallow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering kiss. Decent berry profile ... runs a touch sweet but kept relatively in check ... needs a bit more acidic spike to hit a 4 for me.
