It is a correct bock, the taste is well balanced, a bit smocked, malt, plum, cloves, some hop and there is a side dry, 29.09.2016, buying it at the Kaufland, Lörrach, in june or july 2016, drinking it at Prélaz, Lausanne

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts dry malty, roasty, some light herbal notes. Light chocolate hints. Finish well balanced, earthy-malty, dry. Okay.

bottle from the brewery's webshop. Brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Malty with Blockmalz, chocolate and caramel, molasses and shy earthy hoppy finish. Shy yeasty fruity hints in the far background.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Lasser Urbock Starkbier Dunkel ].[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ]. Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sugary, light brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bread, sweeet malt, sugary, caramel malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Dunkel malziger, zunehmend herber Antrunk. Süffig, die Malzigkeit nimmt zwar leicht ab, bleibt aber stärkstes Aroma. Geringe Säure, würzig, gelungen. 9/10/10/10/9/10

10.06.2015 - pours clear red-brown with a creamy head and nice lacing. sweetish aroma; caramel, rye bread, marzipan, some distant hops. roasty flavour, sweet caramel, little sourness. bittersweet finish. alcohol not too noticeable considering 6.6% abv. 23.03.2020 - an old bottle bb 01.2016. pours a hazy deep chestnut. nutty, caramelly, slightly musty. still ok.

330ml Flasche. Leuchtende rötlich-braune Farbe, schöne Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, leicht alkoholisch. Geschmack röstmalzig, süß.

Bottle. Raisin and toffee malt aroma with mild astringency. Clear chestnut color with nice head. Sweet raisin and toffee malt flavor with a mild astringent finish. Nice body. Very good.
