Strahlendes Kastanienbraun, glanzklar filtriert mit glänzenden rubinroten Akzenten, vollendet mit einem sahnigen, feinporigen Schaum. Kräftiger Malzton, umspielt von Düften nach Trockenobst, kandierter Ananas und Blütenhonig. Weich moussierend im Antrunk, gefolgt von einem wuchtigen Körper mit deutlicher Frucht- und Süßnote. Gut eingebundene Hopfenbittere, die in einem langen, wärmenden Finale mündet. Mit diesem kraftvollen, sehr anspruchsvollen Bier belohnt man sich selbst oder die Liebsten nach getaner Arbeit.

Bottle. Chestnut, fine carbonation, off-white layer. Bready aroma with light marzipan. Nutty, roasted, light chocolate flavours, fitting grassy hop counter. Chewy body, sparkly mouthfeel. Light licorice aftertaste, still quite fresh though - very drinkable bock.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, dark amber colour with a mid-sized tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of beet sugar and a tinge of caramel. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malty and molassy taste with shades of caramel; sweet malty and shy bitter finish. Nothing special. 09.XII.10

Bottle: Amber coloured, smaller persistent off-white head; some molasses detectable in the dark-malty to caramelly nose; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; sweet caramelly finish, slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing to complain, but qite monotonous.....
