(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, dark amber colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Dark malty, slightly toasted and wheaty aroma with pronounced fruity notes of dark and red berries, traces of green bananas and caramel, backed by sweaty spicy accents and chocolate. Moderately sweet and mildly sour flavour, medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Mainly berry-fruity taste with dark malt and a moderate wheat character, accompanied by lighter notes of caramel and a whiff of chocolate, the spiciness stays in the background; mildly sweet and delicately sour-fruity finish with shades of chocolate and nearly muted alcoholic notes. Solid. 28.II.17

Fläschchen: Light amber coloured, hazy, stable and creamy medium-sizec head; sweet nose of sweet wheat-malt and bananas with a caramelly background, molecular traces of herbal hops included; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied; sweetish fruity-wheaty and a bit tart finish, some hops detectable in the aftertaste. A bit on the sweet side, but all in all quite well crafted...

0,33l bottle at home courtesy of Beerhunter111 as part of Euro Local Swap, big thanks. BB 12/2015. dark brown hazy color, rather big off-white head. smells of spices, yeast, light green apples, sourish, very light funk, some marzipan, some peach, hmm, smells like this went a bit sour, nice smell, lets see about the taste :P full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, yeasty, spices, peach, acidic, a bit soapy, hints of underlying sourness, very light notes of green apples, a bit peppery. finishes lightly dry with notes of peach, spices and green apples. hmm, I assume the sourness is not intentional but it drinks quite good that way, actually I would have prefered a bit more sourness even :P (especially on the taste there are only hints of it). Overall with the sourness it drinks quite good.
