A not so black ipa more like chestnut but nice head and pleasant aromas. Tastes plenty piney, with some citrus, toast, roasted malt, and some coffee bitters. My cousin who was drinking with me asked what a black ipa was and this isn’t necessarily the brew tonteach that lesson with.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, flowers, toasted malt, caramel and has a long bitter finish.
