Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and straw as well as a touch of chocolate. The flavor is sweet and quite roasted combined with notes of chocolate malt - more like chewing on the malt, than chocolate, as well as some notes of straw, leading to a very dry and roasted finish.

Tap at Cockney Pub. Nice frothy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are dry roast malt, notes of licorice but not as distinct as a normal porter would be.

From tap at Cockney. Pours pitch black with a medium lived and tan head. Vague aroma, light roasted. Toffee, breadish and roasted flavoured. Slight honey herbal note too. Medium dry and toffee flavours lend towards butterish. Mild bitterness and roasted malt flavoured finish.
