Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As McGivern Porter ].Clear dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, tart fruit - blackcurrant ? earthy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, roasted, spicy - tart fruit, light yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141008]
