Keg at Moor Vaults, Bermondsey, 15/06/22. Hazed reddish amber with a good sized beige covering that stays for the show. Nose is bitter orange, hop spice, pine needle, citric tinged straw, candied fruit rinds, old skool vibes. Taste comprises caramel malts, grapefruit, pine needle, bitter orange, crystal malt, light candied fruits. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Solid old skool kit.

8.0% abv red rye. . On tap at Moor Beer Bermondsey. Hazy deep ruby colour. Lasting beige head. Spicy rye aroma. very smooth in the mouth. just what I needed. a deep malty rich beer. it hides abv well. Good spicy rye. some dryness. wow one of the best rye beers i have had. some roasted malt flavour gives dryness. otherwise pretty good.
