From cask at Goose Island Shoreditch Deep ruby dark brown colour lasting beige head well its got the sweetness of a barleywine. lots of wood character no doubt. it has some smoothness. some nougat. just a little lacking in finesse. some caramel some sweetness. some heat on finish . some liquid caramel is attractive but some harshness too which isn't. light caramel biscuit flavour. decent grew on me.

Dates and dried fruit nose, very smooth, with sherryesque and toffee notes and vanilla and bourbon from the Heaven Hill barrels. Boozy finish
