Working closely with local craft brewer Resting Devil, our team have produced this small batch plum porter.

Locally brewed with Victoria plums harvested from the heart of the Chatsworth Kitchen Garden, this craft ale captures the real taste of the garden at Chatsworth, which has provided the estate with seasonal fruits and culinary herbs since 1549.

750ml bottle from Chatsworth Farm Shop - deep black with a purple hue, big off white head. Fruity and smoked malts, some nutty hints. Lots of plum. Luxury tipple.

Bottle picked up at Chatsworth Farm Shop. Beautiful looking packaging. Looks like a high quality port or sherry. Equally good looking in the glass too. Clear deep ruby red with a leggy lasting dense of white foam. Easy 5. Nose has ripe plum. Light chocolate malt. Soft ashy roast. Taste is nicely bittersweet. Super smooth with a vinous twang. Lingering malty fruity bitterness. Lovely porter this.
