Gravity cask at Wirksworth station, mini beer fest - Apollo bar, 06/06/2025.
Golden blonde with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, soft malts.
Taste comprises tangerine, grass, melon, papaya, citric tinged straw.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness.
Decent cask offering.

500ml bottle from Peacock in Barlow - misty straw body with a firm white head. Grassy hop notes with a sweet orange citrus backdrop, pleasant citrus bite on the palate.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Pours a little lifeless. Sits hazy pale gold. Slim white foam. Very nice Nelson twang. Clean malts. Sweet grain up front. Twangy bitterness. Little dull on the palate. Minimal carbonation. Semi sweet finish. Probably a decent beer but the condition is poor.
