Keg draught at the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate, Leicester. Very dark brown, pretty much opaque with a ring of beige head. Roasted malt followed by salted caramel and swathes of liquorice Riot in the aroma. Sweet loquorice-laden taste followed by gentle hoppy bitterness with a but of molasses and blackberry. Full body for the ABV with quite heavy carbonation. Really keen on this, I usually find liquorice-y stouts too sweet but this is spot on.
