Keg @ Black Bull Inn, Coniston. Golden with a thick frothy-bubbly head. Has a heavy carbonation and an understated lager character, but this is not a bad thing as it's quite refreshing for it.

On keg at Black Bull, Coniston - a hot day quencher as a prelude to a ticking sesh. Clear straw coloured body, no head. Lots of fizz, nose and taste is grainy, rather cloying. Did its job but obviously Coniston’s "one for the masses".

On keg at the Black Bull. Appearance - golden with steady bubbles and a thin head. Nose - a hint of lemon and herbs but quite a metallic note overall. Taste - light lemon but mostly pale malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with high carbonation and a long dry finish. Overall - a solid lager but the pilsner was a bit better.
