From tap at Ostello Bello Grande, Milan, 24.07.17. Clear dark golden. Diminishing off-white head. An industrial IPA. Malt sweetness, caramel, marmalade, medium low bitterness. Lacking the freshness of a good IPA.

0.33l can. Hopy aroma, grapefruit dominates. Hazy amber color, white head. Hopy taste, average bitter, too much sweet notes. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation and bitter-sweet finish. Average and too sweet.

Can consumed at the campsite in the shore of Lake Orta. Had to beg borrow and steal some ice. A mostly clear orange coloured pour with a small loose white head. Aroma is soapy lemon, sandalwood, woody bark, pine, spicy ginger. Flavour is composed of light grains, nutty, unrefined sugars, pine, dirty pine. Palate is semi sweet, watery, moderate carbonation. Some lingering sweet dried fruit. An imitation ipa.

0,33l can at home bought at a supermarket in Bolzano, Italy. BB 06/2016. dark orange clear color, medium big off-white head. smells of berry notes, citric, soda, tobacco, bit cardboardish. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of caramel, light cardboard, tobacco, bit old hoppy, dark fruits, plums, light berry notes. finishes bitter / sweet with caramel, tobacco and dark fruit notes. hmm, not very ipa like, way too malty especially on the taste, overall rather boring, its tough to find the hops on this one..

Can, 0.33l. Clear amber color with thin frothy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is mild fruity, musty and grassy. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with mild caramel note, follows grassy, vegetably and medicinal with dry mouthfeel and mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, oily and rather thin texture with fizzy carbonation in palate. Wannabe IPA...

33 cl can. Orange color, clear, short offwhite head, some lacing. Slight hoppy smell. Aroma of caramellized malts, bittering hops, some caramel. Mild bitter taste, watery body, average carbonation, dry finish. Decent, but not really IPA.
