Cask at CP&K. It pours clear amber with a small beige head. The nose is dark fruit, raisin, cherry, caramel, wood and leather. The taste is leather, wood, dark fruit, spice, raisin and some bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. An easy drinking fruity ale. More like a fruity ESB than anything else. Decent enough.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - yet another new one from the Thornbridge stable, deep amber in colour, icy white head. Nice smooth velvet palate on this one, with notes of pine and citrus on the nose, with all kinds of fruit coming through on the taste. A quality beer, nice bitter ending, and not too high on the old ABVs to make it a good session ale.
