(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 16 Feb 2023) Ruby red colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, vinous nose with notes of caramel, oak wood, red fruit and a touch of alcohol. Malty, vinous taste with caramel, oak wood, bourbon, vanilla, red berries, bread and a mild spicy bitterness in a warming finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and tasty, powerful, still harmonious and well balanced. Very nice.

Tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 9th February 23. Pours a red chestnut brown. Aroma is vanilla, barrel and liquor. Taste is vanilla, wood, liquor, mellow, drinks like a decent barrel aged Barley Wine, so very good
